About The Event - 14, 15 & 16 June 2012
We would like to welcome you again to the 2012 Sardine Run Golf Tournament. This year's competition will be held on the Thursday 14th, Friday 15th and Saturday 16th June 2012.
This year will be the second time that we play on 3 courses – Scottburgh, Umkomaas & Selborne !!
Here are a few things that you need to know about the Tournament:
1. THE FORMATS ARE:
SCOTTBURGH – Fourball Alliance – Two scores to count
UMKOMAAS – Betterball – Teams split up
SELBORNE – Betterball – Teams split up
EACH TEAM WILL PLAY AT EACH COURSE
2. TEAM DRAWS:
These will be done prior to the Tournament and forwarded to you
3. PRIZE GIVINGS AND DINNERS:
All of these will be held at Scottburgh GC ONLY !!! There are prizes for each day for Scottburgh, Umkomaas & Selborne There is an overall prize for winning the Sardine Run
4. PAYMENTS
Full Team Payment by 31 March 2012 – R900.00 per Player (R3600.00-Team) Full Team Payment after 1 June 2011 - R950.00 per Player (R3800.00-Team) Lastly please don’t forget that we are here to have fun so come and enjoy !!!

INFO ON THE EVENT
1. The Theme - Day One has a theme, and best dressed prizes will be given !!
2. Carts and Caddies are available at each course and for your own account, carts must be booked and are a “first come first served” basis, all cart booking for all courses call 039-9760041
3. Wristbands will be issued on registration; these are to be worn at all times during the Tournament, NO WRISTBAND NO PLAY – NO WRISTBAND NO EAT !!!! Wristbands must be worn on your wrist, nowhere else.
4. Draws will be done on the 7th June and you will be informed soon after what days you will be playing what course, the draw cannot be changed.
5. Registration will be done for your team at the course where you have been drawn so there is no need to report to Scottburgh Golf Club on day one, you can go straight to the course drawn for you.
6. All prize givings, meals and entertainment will be at SCOTTBURGH GOLF CLUB ONLY !!!
7. All prize giving's will start at 6:30pm Sharp and dinner will follow soon after
8. Dinners are provided for players on ALL DAYS - Meals for family and spouses can be purchased at R60 at Scottburgh Golf Club each Day
9. Photos a cameraman will be on the courses taking photos, which will be available via our website
10. Entertainment will be provided each night with a Beer Fest on Saturday Night
11. Swopping of players must be reported to the officials, your team can thereafter compete for daily prizes but not the overall Sardine Run Prize
12. Prizes - Besides Daily Prizes for each Golf Course the Main Sardine Run Prize will be as follows:
1st Place - R2 500 Pro Shop Vouchers to each player = R10 000
2nd Place - R1 500 Pro Shop Vouchers to each player = R6 000
3rd Place - R1 000 Pro Shop Vouchers to each player = R4 000 |
